U.S. Exporters Active in the Caribbean

Greetings from warm and sunny Miami!

Following is a list of Florida and Other U.S. Exporters Active in the Caribbean.  We have compiled this list as a service to:

a) U.S. food manufacturers seeking to enter the Caribbean market through other U.S. companies which are already exporting to the region;

b) Caribbean Importers seeking U.S. suppliers with expertise in exporting to the region.

Please keep in mind that our list is modest and by no means all-inclusive.  It is furnished for your information with the understanding that no discrimination is intended and no guarantee of reliability is implied.  Because a large share of U.S. processed food products exported to the Caribbean move through Florida, many of the companies included on our list are in fact from Florida.  However, our list is not limited to Florida companies.

USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) also has two much broader electronic databases of U.S. suppliers which are available on-line at the FAS website:  www.fas.usda.gov  The U.S. Supplier List  provides contact information for thousands of qualified U.S. Suppliers of food, farm, seafood and forest products.  On the left hand side of the FAS website, under the “Browse by Subject” heading, click on “Buying U.S. Products.”  Then, under the “US Suppliers List” heading, click on “on-line database.”  Once you reach the query form you can make the appropriate selections to obtain the list you are looking for.  Yet another option is the FAS Export Directory of U.S. Food Distribution Companies.  This is a list of U.S. suppliers of mixed containers of grocery and/or food service products.  Under the “Browse by Subject” category, simply click on “Buying U.S. Products” and then on “Export Directory of U.S. Food Distribution Companies.”
